The purpose of this ATIPP request is to get a clear understanding of how the province has dealt with troubles concerning Kruger Inc's payments to the Corner Brook Pulp and paper union's pension plan. I would like all correspondence from 2010 to present (e-mail, memo's, briefing notes etc.) written by officials within the Pension Benefit Standards Division of the Department of Service NL, or written by officials from the division to the minister of Service NL or to other departments or ministers in government, Corner Brook Pulp and Paper union representatives, and Kruger representatives, discussing the situation with the Corner Brook Pulp and Paper (CBPP) unions's pension and Kruger's funding of the same. This should include and discussion of the role of the Act (Pension Benefits Act, 1997) which oversees the administration of some pensions in the province. This should also include, in particular, correspondence between officials in the department of Service NL and current minister Eddie Joyce and previous ministers on the subject of Kruger's pension obligations to CBPP union pension obligations back to January 2010.2017-02-03Service NL
